Themes of Research and Their Contents 先頭へ
Themes of Research Current research activities are as follows;
1) Phase relation and evolution processes of minerals by hydrothermal experiments
2) Geochemical behavior of uranium series elements and lead isotopes.
Contents Research on formation and evolution processes of minerals related to migration of elements and global environment are carried out. Weathering and evolution processes of minerals of uranium ore deposits by mineralogical techniques including secondary ion mass spectroscopy, X-ray absorption fine structure, visible-microspectroscopy of absorption and fluorescence spectra and cathodoluminescence are also carried out.
