synthesis of lactones, furans, 4,5-dihydrofurans, 1,2-dioxanes, and bicyclic, tricyclic, and macrocyclic compounds
Metal-Catalyzed Oxidation of Organic Molecules:
synthesis of epoxides, substituted 4,4'-biphenyldiols and 4,4'-diphenoquinones
Carbon-Carbon Bond Formation under High Pressure:
direct diacetylmethylation of aromatic compounds
Photo-Induced Intramolecular Cyclization and Photooxygenation of Organic Compounds:
synthesis of substituted naphthalenes and oxiranes
Separation and Total Synthesis of Natural Products:
