　標記のことについて、本学大学院先端科学研究部基礎科学部門物理科学分野教授または准教授候補者（女性限定）の公募を下記のとおり行うことになりました。つきましては、貴機関関係各位への周知について、よろしくお取り計らい下さるようお願い申し上げます。

2．所属 熊本大学大学院先端科学研究部基礎科学部門物理科学分野
※本学では、令和９年４月１日から新たな教員人事制度に移行することを検討しております。そのため、本公募により採用される教員の所属については決定次第、候補者にお知らせいたします。
3．専門分野 宇宙物理学（理論）
4．職務内容 上記専門分野に関する先端的研究・国際共同研究の推進、物理科学分野教員、関連分野教員との連携による研究活動の活性化、大学院・学部・教養教育における物理学関連科目の担当および学生の指導、大学の管理運営や地域社会貢献に関する業務。
5．着任時期 令和９年４月１日以降のなるべく早い時期
6．応募資格
（１） 博士あるいは Ph.D.の学位を有する方
（２） 優れた研究業績を有する方
（３） 学部及び大学院における教育・研究並びに大学運営に対して熱意を有する方
（４） 学内外における諸業務の遂行が可能な日本語能力を有する方
（５） 英語でのコミュニケーションと講義・指導ができる方

業績リストには、査読付き専門誌論文、その他論文、招待講演、著書、競争的外部資金（科学研究費、産学連携共同研究費、各種助成金など）、特許取得、国際共同研究実績、社会活動実績、その他に分類し、共著者等はすべて記入し応募者に下線を付すこと。なお、業績リストの冒頭に h-Index を記し、論文の Citation 数の情報を各論文の箇所に記載すること。

*Kumamoto University is currently considering the introduction of a new faculty personnel system effective on April 1, 2027. Accordingly, the affiliation of the successful candidate to be appointed through this recruitment will be communicated once it has been determined.
3. Field of Research: Theoretical astrophysics
4. Responsibilities:
(1) Promotion of cutting-edge research and international collaborative research in the above-mentioned specialized fields
(2) Activation of research activities through collaboration with faculty members in the field of physics and related fields
(3) Teaching physics-related subjects and supervising students in graduate, undergraduate, and general education courses
(4) Duties related to university administration and contributions to the local community
5. Starting Date of Appointment: Earliest possible date after April 1, 2027
6. Candidate Qualifications:
(1) PhD or an equivalent holder
(2) Excellent research achievements
(3) High motivation in education, research, and university management
(4) Non-Japanese speakers should have Japanese proficiency to perform various duties inside and outside Kumamoto University.
(5) Ability to communicate and to give lectures and provide instruction in English.
